Review on πŸ“ Jielisi 3-Way 12.6 Inch (A4 size) Rotary Trimmer Cutter: Efficient Perforating and Scalloping Tool by Carrie Spencer

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This shot worked very well!

This was perfect for what I need it for. Once a year I mail out 150 12-part forms, which are returned to me one at a time throughout the year. So I need 7 perforated lines per side. I used to use a ruler and a metal pen for the sewing wheels (I usually go through at least 2 of these to make sure all my papers are perforated. The sewing wheel pen worked but the strips didn't tear well for the customer and it I did took a very long time to do all this. Do I want an electronic one? Absolutely! However, I can't justify the cost as I only have to do it once a year. The paper, I have used and the weight I have applied to the slicer I have found that I can consistently punch 4 sheets at a time. He could definitely hit more, but I wasn't that consistent with the pressure. I've also found that if I'm just making one sheet of copy paper I need a very light touch or else I'd cut through the paper instead of punching it. After making 120 sheets I wondered how long the blades would last. The blades have outlasted my entire project, but I wish I had ordered a replacement perforating blade when I ordered the trimmer so I didn't have to worry. I ordered a replacement today so I don't have to worry about not being able to complete my project next year! A swipe across the paper and it's perforated! Returning it to its original position will re-perforate it, causing the paper to be cut rather than perforated. because the perforation lines do not match the original holes. So as long as you swipe the rotary cutter in one direction and then move the paper around before swiping the cutter again or taking out the paper, you should be fine.

Pros
  • Stationery and school supplies
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than others
