Review on Nellies NLS 50 Natural Laundry Soda by April Jones

I'm not one to look for natural products. I just buy what's on the market, usually Tide or Gain. A friend loved this detergent so I ordered a small bag to try. I was very skeptical, I didn't think anything all natural would really clean clothes. I put a couple of towels in there including 1 towel that had been left in the washing machine for days and had a horrible musty smell even after several repeated washes. I also threw a shirt with blood on it, it was blood for several hours and I didn't process anything or add any enhancers like oxyclin. After just one wash in hot water everything was clean and incredibly fresh. There's a very faint smell coming from the dryer, but it's not a morning rain or an island breeze or anything wrong. They just smell "clean". I'll keep my tide/gain and take turns washing with Nellie's. I've heard that sometimes any natural detergent can get your clothes dirty over time, so I'll be going to Nellie's once every two weeks. But I like it, it really works!
