Not very good for sanding leather.

I bought it as cuticle scissors. For that purpose it was not good for me. The angle of the blade didn't allow for cutting, and I also felt that the blades weren't that sharp(?). In the end I settled on the Tandy Super Skiver which was much better suited to my needs.

Pros

This adjustable hand tool is designed for thinning, beveling, beveling and cutting leather, giving the craftsman full control over the angle and degree of the cut.
