Not very good for sanding leather.

I bought it as cuticle scissors. For that purpose it was not good for me. The angle of the blade didn't allow for cutting, and I also felt that the blades weren't that sharp(?). In the end I settled on the Tandy Super Skiver which was much better suited to my needs.

Pros
  • This adjustable hand tool is designed for thinning, beveling, beveling and cutting leather, giving the craftsman full control over the angle and degree of the cut.
Cons
  • I don't remember

Pros
  • Length: 80mm (3 1/8")
Cons
  • There are new competitors

No worse than the "Japanese ", which cost twice as much.

Good size and comfortable to hold. Like most bladed tools, you'll need to sharpen them further before using them. I also recommend you practice on scraps as there is both a learning curve and a different approach for different skin types and weights. A note: the angle is slightly steeper than the…

Pros
  • Width: 20 mm (3/4 inch)
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks
