The struts have arrived and cannot be compressed even at my full weight. The box comes without instructions. The part number printed on the box is different from the SMART part number which appears to be taped over the original Chinese number. I don't think these struts have the correct spring tension. I even cut off the rubber boot around the piston inlet thinking it might be a shipping gasket to keep the pressure on. Still does not work. Either defective, or a much higher strength strut was replaced and sold as a SMART vehicle compatible strut. unusable.
