I have no idea what the positive reviews are talking about. Perhaps some buyers have no taste for sound at all and are fine with poor quality products, but they should also not write reviews that suggest to potential buyers (like me) that this is a decent speaker at a bargain price. The sound quality is top notch. as bad as it gets. I've had smaller external speakers at a lower price but with the same volume, quality and functionality. This speaker sounds terrible. Tiny sound, near-zero bass despite claims of a subwoofer (if you can call it that), almost all sound comes from one side of it (again, "sub" isn't audible on any sound), and even volume is nothing. .. something special. It's loud enough, but for its size, this speaker is pathetic. The functionality is just terrible. Bluetooth works, USB seems to work, who knows about FM radio, but the aux input doesn't work at all. I've tested it with both the high quality auxiliary cable and the one that came with it and plugged it into whatever device there is just a constant hum/noise that you'll never get rid of. Aside from the terrible hum and hiss, the volume through the aux is terrible and the quality is just as terrible. Is there a chance I got a model with a bad port? Possibly, but given the quality of this product, it's more likely that you're going to have problems. One last note: obviously the equalizer can only be used via USB. I have no idea why other reviews claim it works in other modes because it doesn't. Even the management confirms this. Not that it really matters, as about five different settings could be described as: tinny, tinnier, muffled, hard to hear and almost normal. Given that the product page says NOTHING about the EQ being USB only, this just shows you how understated and misleading brands like this are. Literally buy everything else. Avoid this brand like the plague.
