I really like this ATV. I got it as a gift for Father's Day. This is my first fpv quad, I've been flying micro and udi for almost a year. This thing is surprisingly quick and agile for its strength, and it can take several flights to get used to its momentum after a maneuver. I ran it into a young tree while making a slightly wider turn and I also rubbed myself on a branch and fell 10ft onto the pavement because the battery disconnected (I came up with a very simple mod that I used in the will describe in detail). . repair later). It comes boxed with a foam insert specially designed for this frame which should be saved for later postage as shown in the image below. My only complaint is that the accompanying documentation is not clear on some things. It's not exactly a scam because it encouraged (read: forced) me to read a lot more about this hobby, which gave me a lot more information on the subject. On the other hand, I wish I had something to describe the specs of the hardware available. Information about the flight controller and receiver is easy to find as it is labeled, but there is no information about the FPV transmitter so purchasing upgrades will be difficult. (I later found another review of this product with information about the transmitter) The controller is a fully custom Acro SP Racing F3 powered by Cleanflight software and is free to download and install on any computer. One can easily find tons of online support. The AT9 exciter is a fairly standard configurable 9 channel transmitter with a range of 1.5 km in the air. This should be more than enough as flying out of sight requires special certification in most regions. The joysticks are smooth and the switches are easily accessible. This quadrocopter uses only a few channels by default, leaving plenty of room for expansion with other devices. The transmitter and receiver are universal so they can be used with any other model that requires up to 9 channels to control. Mounting the battery from above can be problematic as the edges of the carbon fiber top plate are very sharp. I made a very tight turn and G-forces clipped my battery strap around those edges. I had a $2 velcro pack on hand and a spare battery strap. I used a piece of velcro wool to line up the sharp edges that the new strap should make contact with. Then to secure the battery I added 1x1.5" velcro on the top panel and matching wool on my batteries to keep them from slipping out of the case. Better antenna reach and location with a hard zip and another piece of velcro to protect the antenna cable from rubbing against the outer edge of the CF top plate.The ESC 20A is more than sufficient for powerful motors, which according to the specification only require 12A of current under load to protect against burnout caused by an accident.The levers fit most engine bolt models and all the electronic components are replaceable.I don't think you would find a better machine for the money.Its modular nature would make it a great beginner mod or flex- Make project for the pros.
