Review on Nalgene Bottle Carrier Insulated: Keep Your 32 Oz Bottles Cold in Gray by Tyler Owens

When I first took this bottle cage on a day trip, I used a carabiner to attach it to my waist belt (using the lanyard) and by the end of the day the lanyard came loose loop at one end. It also has a velcro strap on the side but I find it too cumbersome to undo when I want to take my pack off or have a drink so I won't be using this bottle insulator again. Another downside is in Maine when it's very cold our water bottles freeze even in insulators so we carry them upside down so the lid/hole doesn't freeze. But this bottle cage is tapered at the top and won't close when I turn my Nalgen bottle upside down. I bought another bottle isolator to replace this useless one.
