Bought these gloves to protect my hands when shelling black walnuts this fall. When working with black walnuts, the liquid can stain hands very, very darkly, and the stains will not subside for several weeks. The strongest soap and even bleach will not remove black walnut juice stains. As you can see from the photo, they worked really well and completely protected my hands even when I was using my hands to clean the case. Walnut. I would definitely buy these gloves again if I had similar household chores. As for using it for dishwashing and similar jobs I think they will do a great job.
