. I bought it in 2014. I've had it I think maybe a year now and I've had a problem. I have the product in excellent condition with no scratches or similar get damage, the only problem i have from time to time is the adapter gets stuck on the macro lens and is very difficult to remove, i recommend anyone who wants to buy this to do so, i personally think that this is a good lens and i read some reviews before writing this and complained about missing parts or the lens not splitting in two, when you first get it it can be difficult to put down when i first got it i had the same question "why doesn't it come off" make sure you twist it right! and use some force! lol oh and if si e miss a part, just contact the seller. also some people complain that it's cheap and easy to damage mmm you're buying a $20 lens. If you want a better lens, buy a $100 lens and don't leave a negative review. Remember it's a $20 lens. Also back to the adapter that gets stuck on the MACRO lens and as I said it's hard to remove as it only sticks to my standard lens twice but it's very easy to remove but be careful around the standard lens not to damage. And I'm not sure what other lenses people have tried it on, but I know it fits perfectly on a standard 58mm lens. I'm giving it 4 stars, well it's a pretty great lens, especially for a beginner and you don't have to worry about a $100+ lens accidentally breaking when you have that inexpensive lens you have can easily replace but this is just an adapter that gets stuck on the macro lens so I'm not giving five stars but I mean it will always be there anyway right? And just because it happened to me doesn't mean it will happen to you, but I would suggest trying PTFE tape or asking for plumbing tape or thread tape to prevent the adapter from getting stuck, I did not tried it but i am trying to take it off right now and i will try as soon as i take it off lol. Well like I said it's easy to replace for another $20 but if the adapter gets stuck you can't cover the back of the lens so it could get scratched.
