I liked the quality of the drain. However, I didn't realize I would have trouble installing after using the standard quick feed flooring kit. The central hole for the quick-release cranks is round and the drain itself is of course square. This means that when running a drain above the base of a sloping floor, you will need about 1 inch of speed dial to adjust the floor tile so that the drain is on or below the tile. (See Fig. 1) This is too thin a set. I had to reshape the bottom by cutting a gutter sized square from the top of the bottom and removing the thin and quick tips. The best option was to use a multi-tool to break about half of the fast pace to maintain some system integrity. (see Fig.2). Be careful not to cut through the entire fast feed or you will cut through the liner. I then replaced the broken thin set and made a drain insert to sink into the floor. (see fig.3)
