Well it's light but only if you plug it in
Daughter wanted a rainbow night light for her room. It was cheap enough to get the job done, but not so cheap that I was worried it would catch fire. It drains the batteries if used 2 nights and unfortunately the on/off button doesn't work when plugged in. I wouldn't recommend it for a child's room, maybe a party or something, but not a night light.
