Daughter wanted a rainbow night light for her room. It was cheap enough to get the job done, but not so cheap that I was worried it would catch fire. It drains the batteries if used 2 nights and unfortunately the on/off button doesn't work when plugged in. I wouldn't recommend it for a child's room, maybe a party or something, but not a night light.

I liked this light at first and so does my 3 year old, it's very bright. I used batteries at first, then switched to USB, the cables got very hot, then the rainbow itself started to glow blink, I don't know if I got a bad one but I won't be using it again! Will send back. Please be careful and check from time to time that the cables are not hot!

I bought Rainbow Neon and put it in the window with soft gnomes for Easter, St. Patrick's Day and Pride month and it was very cute! I started with batteries and it was light for the first few days but no colors were visible during the day so I switched to wall connection and all colors were visible and bright 24/7. I was thinking of buying another one to use hanging it on my front door as the cord is very long there is a good chance of throwing away the extension cord.
