I bought this hub for my Lenovo Thinkpad X1 tablet which has a USB 3.0B port and a USB 3.1c port. Since I need port B for my Logitech mouse sensor and the other for my Asus USB monitor, I decided to go with a one-stop solution. USB-B connectors, video and power supply via USB 3.1c connector. This hub does everything I need great! I don't see any lag from the USB monitor or mouse, and the power delivery is as fast as if I just had the power cord plugged in. I gave it a star because it gets so damn hot. I suspect that's why the case is aluminum for heat dissipation, but be warned, let it cool down a bit after prolonged use, especially if you're using it to power. I also wish the cord was a little longer or didn't stick out as much. However, the connection between the cable and the hub is very well reinforced, so I don't expect it to fail quickly. I found that I was actually keeping it in its original shell and box when I tossed it in my bag.
