Review on Lenovo G34W 10 34" Curved Monitor, 3440x1440P, Height Adjustable, Anti-Glare Coating, Flicker-Free - ‎Model 66A1GCCBUS by Andy Betancourt

Definitely avoid my review.

For starters, this is a great 144Hz monitor. There were no problems with Freesync. The problem lies in the design of the power button. 3 months after purchase, the "Power" button will begin to "click" randomly. The design is such that the power and control of the same button. The OSD menu opened randomly and kept changing settings. Pressed the button and everything was gone. For some time. Finally there was no stopping it. The screen keeps showing either ECC Changed (hanging left) or OSD (hanging right accidentally). The monitor is basically unusable. Attempting to get a refund from Revain, expired. I contacted Lenevo and found out a few things. #1: I'm far from the only person with this problem. This is a fatal design flaw. There are hundreds of complaints about this problem on the internet. #2: They literally stopped doing it 6 months ago. They don't sell it anymore, you can't extend the warranty. #3: It took me 3 weeks of constant emails, complaints and a real streaming support phone to show them what was going on. #4: They put me on the "backup" list. People who have been on "replacement" for more than 4 months still haven't received a replacement because THEY ARE NO LONGER MANUFACTURED. #5: I've been waiting for a so-called "tracking number" for my replacement for over a month. Go to the Lenevo website and there is ZERO in stock. The only remaining stock is held by third party vendors desperate to get rid of unsuspecting brands. #6: At this point I have sent an email asking for a full refund. I don't expect them to answer. However, this is a mandatory step before I can file a small claims lawsuit against them. Not only will they give me a full refund, they will also pay court and attorney fees because I have to file a claim in North Carolina. Bottom line: avoid this crap. A poorly designed power switch means the monitor will fail at some point, probably the day after the warranty expires.
