The small size makes this case great. Easily fits the Mavic 2 with three extra batteries, a controller and space for spare propellers and filters. Super portability and I'm sure this case will be pretty durable and stand up to decent handling. I wouldn't even consider testing the waterproofing as I don't think it would be waterproof in any way. But okay, it protects the drone from rain. It's great to carry such a small suitcase with you. Much better than the case that DJI offers. UPDATE: Unfortunately, I recommend staying away from this product. A few weeks later the first clasp (the plastic clasp) broke and shortly after that the clasp on the opposite side broke in the exact same spot. Low quality. Now the only way to keep the case closed is to thread the zip ties through the holes at both corners. This is NOT what you wanted or what you paid for. And it's almost guaranteed that if you already have it or are thinking of buying it, you'll eventually experience the same thing. So stay out of trouble. Don't buy this. 2nd update! After the first set of clasps failed, the company acknowledged the mistake and immediately sent me a new set overnight. I've been using the new set for a few months now and I can attest that it completely and completely solved the problem. Once again I have no hesitation in recommending this suitcase with new closures! Buy it! You will not regret it.
