👜 Smatree Waterproof Hard Carrying Case for DJI Mavic 2 Pro/Mavic 2 Zoom Fly More Combo（Upgrade Edition) - Compatible Case for DJI Mavic 2 Pro/Zoom Drone and Accessories Review

I've only had it for about 2 months. I didn't take it out too often as the weather was terrible here. All I do with it is open and close it to access my drone and put it away. Well, today my left latch broke. If something ordinary broke it, imagine the rest when you travel with it. I am extremely disappointed. I thought it must be very strong and durable? Especially with zippers. But that's not the case. The latches are the weakest part of the case. I hope I was able to replace it?

Edit: After 4 months one of the latches broke with normal use. I contacted the seller, he sent me a replacement lock. Excellent customer service. I always prefer hard cases to carry my gear. It is very compact and contains everything you need for a typical session. I have it next to a larger Apache 3800 for size comparison. Very solid, the cut outs are very precise. 4 stars for the support the company gave me with the product. I hate writing a negative review for a Smatree product. I've had three other cases of Smatree that are fine. One for my Spark, Air and Mavic 2 combo case. I sent my first case back when it broke. a month before it broke in the latch. Choose the higher-end case model DH1000M2. It's a bit more money, a bigger body, but the locking system is well done.

The small size makes this case great. Easily fits the Mavic 2 with three extra batteries, a controller and space for spare propellers and filters. Super portability and I'm sure this case will be pretty durable and stand up to decent handling. I wouldn't even consider testing the waterproofing as I don't think it would be waterproof in any way. Sturdy but poor design and quality control. This is my second Smatree case: I bought one for my Mavic Pro and I love it. Unfortunately, this case designed for the Mavic Pro 2 has some design and quality flaws. The aluminum labels are not flat and protrude from the case (see my photo). I'm not sure if anyone at Smatree has ever seen the Mavic 2 Pro or know how a protective case is supposed to work. As can be seen in the stock images, the batteries protrude beyond the protective foam. Eventually you need to be able to capture them in order to remove them. What is not visible in the photos is the total lack of proper clearance. When you close the case it doesn't close because the batteries are sticking out where the case cover should be when the case is closed. This…
