I bought these for my 11 year old to go hiking. He runs a lot and goes camping with the Boy Scouts and it's holding up very well. He finds them very comfortable and easy to put on and take off. They fit normal and may be slightly larger, but not big enough to wear even half a size. After a week of hiking with multiple 5 mile hikes, they still look and hold up well. My son wants to wear them every day. As a typical kid, he probably spent most of this week's trip with his boots unlaced, and it shows. The ends of one of the laces on one of the shoes were frayed and tangled, but I can't fault the company for that. That happens with every shoe.
