It's easy to use but better for flat items. If you use it on an uneven or uneven surface, it will settle into the grooves of whatever you are covering, exposing material in high spots. In our case we covered the clay we had shaped to look like a small wave (pond) and as it dried you could see the turquoise clay under the small peaks. This stuff looked great when dried on low flat spots so I would recommend this to anyone who wants to cover a flat surface. However, realistic looking water requires a product with faster drying time, higher viscosity or better adhesion to prevent settling.
