The quality is at the level, I am satisfied with everything.

All in all, this is the best ultrabook you could buy in 2022. Yes, and now he will do everything in terms of speed, display, case materials and probably the battery that is below 1000 bucks in cost, but to be objective, age begins to make itself felt, 8GB of RAM is almost always completely full, sometimes there are slowdowns of programs and interface, the keyboard is very worn out and needs to be replaced, the screen is covered in small scratches and the above-described "dots", plus problems with the hinges are also probably age-related, the case is worn and scratched. It still has a year or two left to live, keep that in mind if you're picking up a 13" 14/15 now. However, for a 5 year old car that's been used and used every day, it holds up remarkably well, while still being a pleasure to drive. work, which is very important, and which will make you think three times about overpaying for Apple laptops - they will serve you for at least 4 or even 6 years, retaining all their functionality, and making you happy every day.

Pros
  • 1. Gorgeous screen - believe me, it really makes your eyes less tired. There is also an excellent anti-reflective coating, and sufficient maximum and minimum brightness - it is quite comfortable to work indoors or at night. The only thing missing is True Tone, like on iPads. Auto-brightness like on smartphones. 2. An excellent keyboard with a clear key travel, for me it is even more pleasant than a mechanical desktop one, and the layout is more convenient if you get used to it. The backlight does not hit the eye, separate for each key and in general, again, pleasant, besides with auto-brightness and a bunch of glow levels. 3. Mac OS Catalina does not slow down at all - I have the IDEA development environment open, a safari with 10 tabs, a couple of documents, music, discord and Finder - this is a standard set, and switching between applications in general (!) without delay, everything always hangs in memory and not reloaded. A desktop with a processor 2 times more powerful + 16GB of RAM for some reason starts to choke. Miracles of optimization, and nothing more. 4. Battery. With my load, it lasts 4-5 hours, if you work with documents - 6 hours, if you watch Youtube / Apple TV / Twitch at 40% brightness - up to 9 hours. And this is at 87% of the original capacity, and 600 cycles after 4 years of use. A lot or a little - I don’t know, but it charges in 2 hours, so I still think these are good results even compared to modern non-Apple ultrabooks. 5. Turns on in less than 25 seconds from scratch, wakes up instantly with saving all programs / tabs / other in memory, and turns off just as quickly. 6. Amazing performance for such obsolete hardware by today's standards
Cons
  • 1. The vaunted build quality actually proved to be not the best - the back cover is so thin that it seems to be made of plastic, and when pressed in some places it makes different sounds. The display hinges, together with the plastic edging of the latter, have been creaking for half a year when the lid is opened. The display itself is scratched in the air, and there are numerous depressed “dots” left from the keyboard, some of which are noticeable even when the display is on. The problem with anti-glare, fortunately, bypassed me, but again there is a risk that the display will suddenly start to look like I rubbed it with a sandpaper at any moment, and the free replacement period has already passed. 2. The speakers have absolutely no bass, which is why the overall sound is somewhat mediocre. However, it is still better than on tablets or smartphones even now. 3. Disgusting webcam 4. A cooler without manual adjustment spins up only when the processor reaches 70+ degrees, which makes it not very comfortable to work "on your knees"
