I think this kind of controller is for people who want to play 2D platform games and fighting games but don't want to mess with those weird buttons that the standard joycons have. . This controller is a great replacement. The D button is very sensitive, which makes movements in these games feel more natural. After using this controller I was able to force myself to use a standard joycon. I even like the locking button as it's better positioned for easy access and makes taking out the controller smoother. This controller has some disadvantages. This is a battery drain as I lost at least 27% of my battery in 2 hours. But I didn't find it a big problem since I don't play long gaming sessions. I've also heard that the battery keeps draining even in sleep mode. So I can suggest removing the controller when the system is not in use. This thing can only be played in handheld mode, so keep that in mind. I recommend this controller for gamers who need a regular D-Pad for their games on the go. This is a cheaper option, so expect some limitations. Overall I enjoyed this product.
