But the design is great.

Nice design but no wireless. Can only be used in manual mode. Attention! If your Switch has a protective case, this might not work for you. The top back of the controllers has been lengthened to help you hold the controllers better. Because most protective cases are designed to wrap around the regular wireless controllers that come with your Switch console, these non-standard textured controllers will render your protective case useless if you have those controllers. The form is not the same as

Great joycon for the price

This joycon is a great value if you use your Switch primarily in handheld mode. Pros: * More tactile button presses. * Has a D overlay without modding. * Has a cool design. * Less time to move keys and less jiggle. * Easier. * Price. if you don't look closely. * It seems cheap, but mostly because it's so light. * The trigger is pushed outward for some reason and feels weird if you're not used to where it is. There's no vibration feature, so you'll lose double vibrations in games that support…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Annoying

The cross is soft and does not click. The minus button is too soft and the L triggers are too clicky compared to the original joystick. Be sure to read the description. It doesn't have all the functionality of a regular joystick and may not work with some games. However, it works very well with retro 2D games. That's great. I tried it with Stardew Valley and Moonlighter and was impressed. As stated in my disclaimer, there is an odd bump next to the release button on the back. So if you use a…

Super responsive D-Pad, not the ideal place.

That's why the Pro Controller is still the BEST way to play with D-Pay. On the Pro controller, the D-Pad is located to the right of the left analog stick, while on the Hori D-Pad it is located just below the analog stick. With my hands, this makes for a slightly tighter experience, and I had to fiddle with how to hold the Switch in my hand to avoid cramping my left thumb. Other than that, it's ridiculously responsive D-Pay. I wasn't afraid of not being able to pull off the Shoryuken or Hadoken…

Great but limited controllers

I think this kind of controller is for people who want to play 2D platform games and fighting games but don't want to mess with those weird buttons that the standard joycons have. . This controller is a great replacement. The D button is very sensitive, which makes movements in these games feel more natural. After using this controller I was able to force myself to use a standard joycon. I even like the locking button as it's better positioned for easy access and makes taking out the controller

The perfect solution to the switch d-pad problem, and here's why.

A lot of people are complaining about these Joy-Con which I would find unnecessary and completely ignorant to be honest. portable mode. Inconclusive issues considering: A) You couldn't have made it clearer that the controller isn't wireless. It's $20 for a loud scream! B) I think the portability limit is a good thing. Listen to me. The left Joy-Con replaces the D-Pad with buttons by default. Why? So every Joy-Con, whether left or right, can be played with one hand. as good buttons for EVERYONE.

Any platformers? Take it.

Okay let's get that out of the way, it's only for handheld devices, doesn't work wirelessly, and no, you're not going to modify it to work that way. That won't be a factor in this review since this thing is advertised as a handheld controller. Good? Good. In short, the joystick is identical to the standard Switch joystick, if there's a difference I can't feel it. Triggers feel good but different, shoulder clicks louder but feels good. There is no drone, no gyroscope. But that's ok since the…
