Essential for my Volkswagen CC.
From what I've heard, Volkswagens have "noisy" DC power lines. So it also works on VW Passat, Tiguan, Golf, Jetta and comparable Audi models as they have many common parts. I couldn't connect the DoHonest S4's wireless network when I plugged in the backup lights, although it worked fine when tested with the internal DC adapter.
