It ABSOLUTELY WORKS! There were 3 pros who don't know what was going on. When the car was on the camera, it didn't work. The camera worked when the device was off (didn't work), when I installed this product it worked! The camera worked when the car was on. Amazing device

From what I've heard, Volkswagens have "noisy" DC power lines. So it also works on VW Passat, Tiguan, Golf, Jetta and comparable Audi models as they have many common parts. I couldn't connect the DoHonest S4's wireless network when I plugged in the backup lights, although it worked fine when tested with the internal DC adapter.

I give three stars because this filter is not up to its task, it works, but the image on the monitor screen is not as clean as it should be, so I have bought another relay and now my problem is solved. This was just what I needed for my 2014 Mini Cooper Countryman. I had an issue with the camera not turning on at all and found that the voltage stayed between 11.4-11.6v or so when the reverse light was used to power the rear camera. Connecting this camera to the camera solved this problem. If you're reading this and have an R60, connect In+ to the blue taillight wire and In- to the brown taillight wire with T-connectors and you're good to go. walk.

I bought this because my screen was black with no signal but the backup sensors worked fine and the lines on the screen followed my steering wheel. I also noticed that the reversing camera worked fine with the ignition on but the engine off. I set this up as advertised and now the rear camera works (it turns off when the revs drop to idle and the screen has really bad haze/lines) but sometimes turns off to look like a normal screen (rear indicators work however not I am reversed). I have a 2012 Volkswagen Jetta TDI and recently purchased and installed a backup camera after selling it. To my dismay, after I completed the wiring, I received a "no video signal" error when I shifted into reverse. I found that the camera worked fine when the ignition was in accessory mode, but there was no signal when the engine was running.
