Review on Rustic Town Vintage Crossbody Messenger by Eric Ramen

Revainrating 5 out of 5

If you need a men's bag, you'll need this one until you've used it for a while.

I feel the need to update my review of this bag after almost a year of use. I still like the quality of the bag, but after the leather has loosened with use, the locking tab now hangs about two inches below the bottom of the bag. Looks sloppy and that's why I don't carry a bag anymore. The magnetic snaps are pretty much useless and when I can get them to "catch" the front flap has an unsightly crease from the stretching of the bag in use. Result. I throw my bag away and won't buy it again. I was looking for a classic men's leather bag that would be an update to my much more expensive 90's messenger/briefcase. I first looked back at this classy, overpriced, high quality leather goods manufacturer, but found that their new styles didn't suit my middle-aged comfort level. Then I discovered this great bag. It had exactly the design I was looking for (minus the external flap closures) and a description that evoked nostalgic memories of my expensive old bag. I decided to give it a try and see what came of it. I honestly have to say this bag inspired me to write a review after hundreds of orders and products I've received from Revain over the years. I want to address some specific things in other reviews. First of all, several versions of this bag are sold here. Mine is from a rural town. Although I don't know if I'm allowed to say it, it doesn't matter who you buy this bag from. (I bought three identical bags and I will only carry two and in the end only one won) My bag was nice thick leather, well made, classic and now it's the only bag I carry. The color matched the photo but I oiled the bag and slapped it a little to make it look worn initially. It's naturally aged now and people often compliment me with the brand name C. I'm proud to say "thank you" and by the way it's not a C. It was purchased by Revain and made by a company with such an attitude offers life to residents of a global community that creates products that not only have a purpose, but also. going well. I don't expect this $60 bag to last a lifetime, but so far it's holding up much better than the expensive C bag I've carried.
