More useful than advertised

Got this thing off the Kickstarter and only recently started using it more often. Some positions don't seem to stand up to the heavy device. The 25 and 35 degree angle positions use a small strip of leather and a couple of magnets to keep the main support leg from slipping further. My machines (4lbs) aren't heavy enough to crush these magnets so they definitely thought about it, but I have a feeling a bigger machine might; However, keep in mind that unless you're an avid gamer or high-end professional, your computer probably isn't that heavy. I think you need something like a desktop-sized Acer Raptor with two GTX 1080s to keep the magnets down all the time... so it's unlikely to happen, but *feels* like my car , which is a bit unnerving. However, I can't praise this thing enough for the 'extra' things I found it to do. Added a photo of a loved one. I play heavy games at my computer desk but prefer to play casual games in bed. That usually means I use a trackpad, but I shared a desk on the go, so I played heavy games in bed, and this thing was able to provide a flat surface for my gaming laptop's legs to elevate the car enough. to let air in so it doesn't suffocate AND one of the doors has enough uninterrupted flat space to serve as an attached, sturdier mouse pad for me to use in bed! Other small uses I've used it for include an airport document tray, a makeshift way to keep documents wrinkle-free in my backpack, and with a little creative help I was able to use it as a stand for my Nintendo Switch while charging! The "let's play standing up" thing has turned into a kind of diet where I say I'll do it, but I don't. But other uses didn't make it a waste of time at all.
