I like that it allows me to quickly create maps with different types of layers for my work in geology/hydrology! The interface could be improved so you can see how many points are within each polygon or area better than just having all your points displayed at once - but this would make things slower as well (less polygons created). Also sometimes when using multiple views together, one view will not update until after switching back to another tab. Try out both programs before deciding which works best for what you need! It has been great allowing us to map our study areas without needing several separate GIS applications open simultaneously. Easy to use mapping program; very user friendly compared to other similar products available such as ArcGis Online. We have used Geoanalyist mainly to assist with creating geological studies from borehole logs we collect during drilling operations. This helps reduce time spent searching through reports and finding information needed by personnel who perform fieldwork duties.
