Great for making documentation easy and fast

The software that comes with it allows you to create your own schedules as well as perform calculations in real time without having to go into an excel file or another program entirely! This makes things much easier than if I had done everything manually. It also has some really nice features such as being able to plot graphs of data over different dates/times which can be very useful when trying to pinpoint where problems are occurring within my facility (which helps me identify what areas…

Pros
  • Free
  • Easy access from anywhere, anytime through internet browsers.
  • Very easy for beginners who do NOT know how complicated programming is yet want something simple at their fingertips
  • Simple interface compared too others outthere

The software has been very helpful in gathering data from our plants to determine if we are meeting EPA requirements or not. It also helps us understand what changes need be made to increase efficiency of operations. I would like there to be more customization options available so that it can help with other processes as well. However, this is only an issue when you have multiple sites using CEMS. We use CEMS at two different locations (one large one and one smaller) to gather data about…

Pros
  • The software is easy to use and provides good information on production emissions and process efficiency
Cons
  • I wish there was more data available, such as emissions in other processes and water usage

Great instrument for VOC monitoring & identifying trends

I like the fact that it can be used to monitor both volatile & non-volatile compounds, which makes it ideal for use in many different industries. The software also presents all data in a user-friendly manner, making it easy to interpret. It's also relatively inexpensive compared to other systems out there, so that's always a plus! I dislike how certain aspects of the program are not as intuitive or have more steps than other systems we've used. For example, when you're selecting your instrument

Pros
  • Great database capabilities (can store multiple years worth of monitoring results)Can read into specific components/species within complex samplesEasy integration with most common databases such ExcelMicrosoft OfficeAccessSQL ServerMS AccessMongoDB etc..Dislike1 lack of direct access via web interface2 less robust reporting3 cumbersome installation process4 no ability do report back directly
Cons
  • Nothing here
