Review on πŸ“¦ Bamboo Salt Box with Spoon: Organize Your Seasonings with the Totally Bamboo Little Dipper by Paul Lee

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Concept yes, version no

UPDATE: Over the year the number and size of the cracks have increased. The salt has been dripping out of the container for months and is enough. Maldon Flakes should be sprinkled on food, not countertops. It goes in the trash can. ORIGINAL REVIEW: This bamboo* salt shaker is exactly what I was looking for: with a lid to keep strangers out, you maneuver with one hand while supposedly holding the hot pot with the other, and as a bonus, it has its own spoon . Unfortunately - and I know I live in an arid climate, but my goodness - the outer portion snapped just below the pivot in less than a month. The inner cup is still completely intact, so I can continue to use it without hesitation, just looks a bit ugly. Luckily I don't think anyone stares at my kitchen utensils like that!

Pros
  • Easy-care: simply wash by hand or wipe with a damp cloth; do not soak in water or dishwasher safe
Cons
  • Electrical outlet required
