I have ALWAYS had problems with dandruff and a dry scalp (especially on the top of my head). My current shampoo routine is washing my head and shoulders, then rinsing with Olaplex again. (H&S for scalp, Olaplex for hair health). I don't like using Head and Shoulders (which I've been doing for 20+ years) but I ALWAYS look for alternatives because I don't like the way my hair feels with it. Unfortunately in the end everything I tried didn't work out and I had to go back to H&S. So I decided to give it a try. I've only been using my Olaplex shampoo for a week and already had visible dandruff on my widow's peak so it was time to try it. Used it for the first week as directed and didn't really notice much of a difference but figured it might last more than once (I saw a difference but not much). I've waited 10 days to use it again (says 1 week but I don't want to risk my hair falling out in clumps with a new hair product so I always give it a little more time). do the washing up. But it didn't go over the timer. It started burning on the left side of my head and on the back of my head after a little over five minutes. I spat it out, rinsed it, washed it, washed it again to make sure I got rid of it completely. Over the next week I noticed MUCH more hair loss than usual as I ran my hand through my hair and I had 50 strands on my arm. It was every time I ran my hand through my hair for five days before it finally disappeared. So yes, it went in the trash very quickly. Back to H&S and it's been about three weeks since I last used it. I would definitely not even consider using this again and would definitely register this item in the Buy for Any Reason section.
