This is exactly what I thought it would be big enough to fully (and loosely) fit in my large hammock (which is 11 x 8 feet). My previous hammock had a built in insect net and it was fine but the problem is if you use a mat you can't reach it when the insect net is part of the hammock. I put the blanket in the bug net along with the hammock with this mother and it's easy to adjust as it moves around at night. The relief that comes with the bug net is enough to support the bug net but is too flimsy to serve as the backbone for my tarp (reason for a 4 star bypass 5). The reading light loop and carabiner are a nice feature, and the zipper is big enough for easy entry (I'm 6ft 3in). Highly recommended.
