I ordered these two sets but only needed one for my new 4K OLED TV. Glad there were two packs. The first cable I tried; The ARC function was not working which caused my receiver to go haywire. I restarted everything and then it seemed to work. I attributed it to a handshake issue and left the cable in place. Then I noticed flickering and lines on the screen. I thought oh no I'm losing pixels on my new TV. But I switched to another cable from Kit 2 and everything was fine. The second cable is still in operation and so far OK. Looks like I have a bad cable. I bought two packs thinking I would have an extra HDMI cable if I needed one but as one was bad. I could probably use a 'bad cable' on my old Sony 42 inch LCD TV and see no problem. But I leary even do that. Who knows there might be a short in that cable or something else that might cause damage and the old Sony going strong and don't want to mess it up. Two stars deducted for a bad cable. If both cables were good I would give 5 stars because these cables seem to be really well made, thick and powerful. run from my new Apple TV 4K and again; one of the cables is defective, possibly both. I've seen some splash screens in other apps as well; the image almost disappeared and then returned. The Apple TV 4K has a cable test feature, and while the cable appeared to pass that test, it blinked. I replaced the cable with the second one in the pack and so far so good. If I see more flashes or other anomalies that indicate a bad cable, I'll update this review. It's a shame because these cables seem to be really well built, they have loads of positive reviews but for me anyway; It's like luck when I get a good cable or a bad one. I've emailed BlueRigger and they haven't responded to me yet. I'll try to call and see if I can replace the cables. If they replace them, hopefully the replacement parts will work. I thought about buying their high speed "certified" cables but they indicate high speed and the latest HDMI standard. Does this mean that these non-certified cables might not deliver the high speed/bandwidth that certified cables do? If yes; their descriptions of these cables are wrong.
