Ideal for creating small disc images for storage or multiple installations. Use this for specialized older Dell laptops. When I need to build a new block, I just plug in the Msata SSD. Connect it to my master image storage and write the image to the SSD via the USB bus. The drive is ready to install in less than 10 minutes and I don't have to fiddle with cables or adapters. It would also be great for backing up audio recordings if you don't need micro SD cards. The Msata are large enough to be properly labeled with enough information for you to easily retrieve when needed. The micro SD is so small that I can only get a three digit reference number on it. Very handy msata USB device, would like to try it in Raspberry Pi next time, could be a great boot device for pi4.
