Review on Nourison Passion PSN17 Floral Bohemian by Ebony Shaw

UPDATE: I waited a few days thinking the smell would go away but it never did. After speaking to a friend who works with chemicals, he said the cheaper you buy, the less certification the company has due to the use of inferior materials, which is where the smell is coming from. He recommended I return it after my daughter complained of a headache while he was in her room. So I took it to UPS to ship it back... I had to pay to repackage it. So of course I got some of my money back for this time waster, but not all. I think I should have known better when I bought cheap rugs online. Initially, this carpet has a very strong WD-40 smell. Not sure how long it will last but I left it out for 10 hours and it still smells like it. I had to bring it inside because it might rain tonight and it still stinks inside. By all means, I can't get this thing to stay flat. Hoping it will sort itself out somehow. I have to buy a carpet mat and fix it on the wooden floor because the backing makes it slippery. In general the colors are the biggest disappointment... I was expecting pink and this one is almost purple. Doesn't match the color scheme of the room at all. I also thought the gray looked like a light gray in the photos, but in person it's a very dark gray. It really throws a key into things. The colors on the carpet don't go well together so I would struggle to find anything to match it with the other decor in the room. It would be a big problem to get it back now. I'm definitely disappointed.
