
First of all, yes I know it probably looks more like a sandwich maker than a waffle maker, but it's still advertised as such and is supposed to be work one. waffle maker. There are absolutely NO instructions on how much batter to put in or for how long. Seriously, nothing! In fact, the basic instructions don't even mention the waffle part. Who thought it made sense? And unlike EVERY other waffle maker I've seen, this one doesn't have a built in indicator to tell when the waffle is done. only indicates that it is activated. The other doesn't seem to do anything at all. The only reason it gets two stars is because it works. I will give But that needs to be coddled, and even that gets a little inconsistent. I think the sandwich maker works too - I tried it once and it didn't crisp up in the allotted time, but it melted the food evenly, so *shrug* Seriously, buy a real waffle maker if you want one.
