Review on Adjustable Swivel & Tilt Wall Mount Bracket for Sonos Play:1 Speaker - Soundbass Play 1, Designed in the UK, Black by Nicole Harty

Installed 2 of these mounts today. One in my bathroom and one in my basement. They are made of steel, which has a lot of weight. You can tell that you have a quality product as soon as you hold it in your hands. The bracket comes with 2 wall plugs, 2 mounting screws and a mounting screw that is manually screwed into the back of the SONOS: Play 1 speaker, which hooks onto the bracket once it's wall mounted. It also comes with neat little screw covers that close with the screw heads after the mount is installed so you can't see the screws. To install the anchors you will need a 1/4 inch drill bit, a cordless drill and a hammer. The screws are Phillips, so you will need a Phillips screwdriver to screw in and adjust the screws. It's very easy. I originally had my SONOS: Play 1 speaker on the bottom of a table next to my exercise bench. By the way, I have a finished basement with carpeting and a finished ceiling. I mention this because it can affect sound quality, if you don't have drywall or carpet in your basement and plan to put one of those in there, you could get some echo.Mounting this speaker on the wall not only creates space and lets I can do without this table, but it also seems to sound more room-filling because the loudspeaker is mounted a little higher and directed downwards. The arm swings up, down, left and right. You can point the speaker in any direction. You can then use a Phillips screwdriver to tighten the bracket until the speaker stays in the desired position. This mount also allowed me to mount this speaker close to the ceiling in my bathroom, away from splashing water during a heavy shower :) and I LOVE listening to music in the shower. Because the SONOS:Play1 is moisture resistant, I can take stress-free very hot water showers, which is how I like it, knowing the speaker is securely attached to my wall. I would highly recommend this mount to anyone looking to free up some space with their Sonos system or even if you are looking for a neater look. I see myself buying a few more of these in the future.
