Doors, gates and ramps at a good price

It amazes me how many people don't understand the function of the X-Pen and therefore leave 1 star reviews. It was never intended as a heavy kennel for an untrained adult dog, especially large breed dogs, and yes, even small puppies and dogs can learn to climb out of it if bought at the wrong height and not controlled and trained. puppy/dog. The X-Pen is not a substitute for proper cage training or a real kennel. They were originally used by show dog enthusiasts, leaving their most trained and socialized dogs with limited show space to potty train and stretch their legs. Nowadays people on campsites use them for the same purpose. I know Irish Wolfhound breeders who use these pens indoors and outdoors on puppies and adults without incident. Your dogs are trained to use these pens. , "lie", "sit" etc.) in these enclosures and expect them to remain there if left unattended. Boxes and stable kennels are needed for this. It's the same with a puppy. Even if someone is making dinner, you can encourage the pup to stay calm in the X-Pen by offering them a special treat that keeps them busy (Kong stuffed animal, pig's ear, etc.). Don't reward your dog for jumping to the side! And for heaven's sake, don't put your human baby in there. (What are people thinking these days?) If a handle slips on a tile floor, place a pillow, blanket, or piece of plywood underneath and secure with zip ties after drilling a few holes. If you think it's too flimsy, shape it into a square or rectangle, take some 1x6 boards, cut them to length, drill holes in them and tie them to the base. If you have a dog playing around at the gate you can attach a pin with the gate facing in or just buy strong spring clips (no carabiners) to lock the gate securely. Rearing puppies (provided one is the right size and has enough space for the bedding (often two or three separate pens that connect together). They are very flexible to place, both indoors and outdoors if you have a little imagination and some zip ties I use I am particularly fond of midwestern products because they seem to have consistent quality control at an affordable price.
