I only use this light (and helmet light) for singletrack mountain biking. My old lighting system still didn't allow me to see everything I wanted/needed to see in technical situations on the track. With this light I found that I could dismount and ride just as fast as in daylight. The beam angle and brightness are better than any other light in this price range. Battery life wasn't an issue on 2-3 hour overnight rides. The lowest lighting setting is still bright enough and allows you to extend battery life (and ride) :). Finally, the packaging and the quality of the light are top notch. It doesn't look cheap. Everything from the lights to the accessories and fittings is of excellent quality. Settings have everything you need. No additional one-time purchases to complete what you need for your evening. Highly recommended
