Review on Zoo Med Nano 10 External Canister Filter for Aquariums up to 10 Gallons by Betsy Clark

I have a 3 gallon (15 inch) plant tank with CRS and a few nanofish. I started with the Azoo Mignon 60 filter but I didn't have good circulation due to the length of the tank as evidenced by the sheen of oil forming on the surface so I switched to this ZooMed Nano 10. Overall a great filter even for such a tiny tank. - Very quiet, I have to check the tank surface movement to make sure it's working - I had to pinch the inlet pipe with a zip tie clamp to reduce water flow as 90gph is too much for a 3 gallon tank - great circulation - Oil sheen disappeared - I did not use the mechanical filter that came with the unit as it is on the outlet side (big design flaw) There are 2 compartments - I used Seachem Matrix on the outlet side and Purigen on the inlet side (mainly to close the tank spare) . before being blacked out by the Mopani tree).
