Another customer had a piece of broken glass (I've owned it for 4 months), although I treat these things like they're made out of eggshells. glass is glass; even if it is thick, splinters can still break off relatively easily. They looked so cool (bamboo oOoOo) and felt eco-friendly etc. so I'm very disappointed and will buy CERAMIC storage ware: Ceramic has a crystalline molecular structure. Structure; Ceramic is stronger than glass of the same thickness and more resistant to heat and temperature changes.
