Review on πŸ–₯️ Get started with the OSOYOO Raspberry Capacitive Touchscreen - 7" portable display with 800X480P resolution and 60Hz refresh rate! by Brian Mahendrakar

Revainrating 3 out of 5

There were issues with touch input, but a replacement is on the way.

I needed a DSI screen to run the clipper and keep my pins open on the Pi to connect my accelerometer to the input. The screen arrived and the detachable plastic looked scratched but the screen underneath looked brand new so I'm not sure if it just rubbed into the box and was new or could have been used. The screen connected to the Pi immediately and I was able to install the clipper screen with no problems. The problem occurred when I was using the screen. When I clicked on the area I got random input. Sometimes it would click at the bottom or in the next corner across or sideways etc. I tried running the calibration and setting the resolution to Max and Min and there was no change so I'm waiting for a return now so will update as soon as possible I have replacement
