Let me clear things up. Probably the best electric scissors I've ever used. I'd love to give five stars, but I need to be a bit of an acrobat to hold the scissors and press two buttons at once to get started. The security feature of this doesn't escape me; it would be difficult for a child to harm themselves because of this, and I welcome that. One button can be released after activation, preventing an immediate return. Another thing I noticed is that they are louder than my husband's chainsaw! Okay, that's a bit of an exaggeration, but not that far. My downstairs neighbor would probably think I'm tearing down a wall here if I use it! To say the instructions are minimal would be an exaggeration; they hardly exist. The writing is so small that some of us find it difficult to read. Last but not least, while they do provide a USB cable to charge the battery, they do NOT provide a plug that is required to connect to an outlet. This is a big minus for me. I have a plug that I can use but not everyone in my age group (I'm 73) so this is another purchase to make. I link the product below. After trying them out and cutting fabric for two pillows, I figured I'd send them back; they're just not worth all the work and noise.
