The purchase brought only positive emotions.
The first iPhone had no hopes and illusions, switched to it from OnePlus 7pro and did not experience the wow effect. It's just a good overpriced phone, but I was very aware of what I was buying. I took the version for 64, since on my OnePlus it took 60GB out of 256 for ~ 2 years of use. Vanplas left as a second handset with a free premium YouTube, a bunch of files and documents, and so on. On the iPhone, applications work really better, most also look better. Face ID is a very convenient feature, it works with a mask half-closed on the face, as everyone in Hong Kong usually walks.
