They work great. Non-slip shoes are always much harder on my feet than other shoes. The soles are just HARD, but the New Balance slip-resistant shoes I've had over the years have been a little better than most. They fit a bit narrower than other New Balances I've had and I even went for the X-tra Wide option. However, it's great for kitchen work (except my kitchen has really bad floors and the anti-slip doesn't work very well in our kitchen). But my god. They are airtight shoes and although they are not 100% waterproof they are waterproof and because they are very comfortable and I work fast in the kitchen. Moisture stays in the shoe and wow. They smell BAD. My feet smell bad when I wear them. So be careful. Get odor absorbers if you plan on going for them.
