This stuff is great. It's not shiny and looks very professional. And he's damn strong. Actually I layer it three times to a 3.4 inch length and individually compress each layer into two paracords and when I have three layers of this stuff it actually forms a splice which I use with paracord which needs quite a bit of rougher Power. It's clearly not intended for that. But it gives strength to the idea. This material is actually good enough to be used as a routing point for a carrier cable of just a few gauges. Obviously no one should ever trust him with their life i.e. climbing. But you will be surprised how much weight it can hold. I use it for everything except heat shrink tubing. The attached photo of the two connected ends is after 150 pounds of weight has been hung from them. Yes I think it will take good care of your electrical cord lol
