Only worthy: Industrial Electrical

I bought two 100ft packages. 1/8" (blue) was on a cardboard spool and 1/16" (black) was rolled up in a plastic bag. Both forms of packaging appeared free of creases or damage. So far I have gone through several meters of product. Surprisingly, it performs a little worse than the cheap assortment kit you can buy on port charters. It takes more heat to make it shrink, and it doesn't shrink any further than HF material. I believe the HF tube has a 2:1 ratio, so it must have been derated a lot…

Pros
  • 3:1 shrink ratio - shrinks to a third of its size
Cons
  • Some bugs

Color (red) could be lighter.

I'm reconnecting cables in my home studio. The speaker wire I bought has a very faint marking showing the polarity of the wire. This makes changing the cable difficult, especially when working in low light conditions. I decided to fix this by putting black and red heat shrink tubing on the ends of the wires. As for heat shrink tubing, that's a good thing. However, the "red" color is more like "scorched orange". Obviously not as bright as in the picture. It barely worked well enough for my…

Pros
  • Heat shrinkage is measured along the entire perimeter before shrinking, not flat | Requires heat gun
Cons
  • weak

More than just shrinking. Stunning things.

This stuff is great. It's not shiny and looks very professional. And he's damn strong. Actually I layer it three times to a 3.4 inch length and individually compress each layer into two paracords and when I have three layers of this stuff it actually forms a splice which I use with paracord which needs quite a bit of rougher Power. It's clearly not intended for that. But it gives strength to the idea. This material is actually good enough to be used as a routing point for a carrier cable of…

Pros
  • 1/16 inch diameter | 10 feet | Color: gray
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
