This dye works very well on natural fabrics when used correctly. One pack will only dye about a pound of fabric - use more and the color will turn out lighter than expected. Here's how I do it: 1. I put the largest pot I have on the stove and add the color as directed in the instructions. Make sure there is enough water for the fabric to float freely. This is VERY important, otherwise staining and uneven coloring2 will occur. Keep the stovetop on medium-high, stirring frequently, and keep hot for at least an hour3. Remove the clothes from the pot and run cold water under the shower until the water runs clear4. Wash separately once or twice to remove excess dye.
