The sturdy key case can outlive your car

This product is rock solid. Cosmetically, I've seen a better plastic finish, but that's a minor issue. The main feature of the design is durability. The key body is slightly larger than the standard version, but built to withstand heavy use. I have a 2011 Honda Civic. Both keys are in aftermarket plastic cases as the Honda key cases that came with the car broke as per the photos in the description. Recently one of the aftermarket keys broke right in the small screw hole. Honda cars are reliable, but their keys are not! This design comes with multiple grommets that hold the metal portion of the key securely in place. You'll have to do a few trials to determine how many pads to use. Once that is done and the remote module is installed both halves are assembled using 4 large fasteners crimping the metal part of the key. Once the clasps are tightened, the key is firmly in place and works like a charm. I doubt I'll ever have to change that part. Even a car can survive. Update: I've been using this key every day for the past 6 weeks. He's still hard as a rock. Added a photo of the trunk of my car. Since my car has a gas bottle in the trunk, I couldn't swap the torsion spring for a stronger one to make the trunk lid lift. The spoiler I installed increases the force required to lift the lid. It hastened the end of my life with other key shells. With this, I no longer have to be so careful when lifting the trunk lid with my other hand. Firmly! Solves my problem and the car should survive.
