Review on ๐Ÿ“ฑ Black USA Spec BT45-TOY Bluetooth Phone & Music Interface: Enhancing Connectivity and Audio Experience by Jayt Shields

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very good basic interface

This is a great, great value option for retrofitting older non-Bluetooth OEM radios. I have now bought a second device for my son's car. Most of the reviews are pretty good and so is my experience. The base V6 first entered Tacoma in 2005. Installing the module itself (subscribe to YouTube) was easy. I added an Aux and a USB port separately to the center console, which took most of the time. The base V6 Tacoma only has a base radio with CD and no steering wheel controls, so I can't comment on the steering wheel control integration or what it is. may look at OEM head units with higher options. For a simple head unit, this is close to perfect. To make a call you need to pick up the handset to dial the number as the base radio does not have a dialing interface. There's also no way to scroll through contacts, at least not on my head unit. Like I said, that's the main thing. performance is great. connects to my phone instantly, the sound quality of the call is better than my Mercedes Command! Streaming music is easy and sounds great too. This device also has an auxiliary input and output for a USB charger. Unfortunately, the USP port is only for charging and doesn't accept music files, but if you want to integrate your phone and have a convenient charging port, then this is for you.
