I have to admit, that for the price I was not expecting much but I am very happy with my purchase. The watch roll does appear to be made of real leather but it does not have that rich wonderful smell of leather. I'm not sure why! Also the leather was very dry looking but not necessarily in a bad way. I debated whether to keep it this way or condition it and I chose the latter. Just a heads up, I conditioned it with Saphir leather conditioner and it turned the leather from a lighter shade of brown to a dark milk chocolate brown. I was kind of shocked at how much it changed. I have other leather watch rolls of higher price and I have to say that the construction and build quality is very similar. I think for the price this is a great value and would strongly recommend it.
